About us
In short, we are 2 adventurous people
who set out to live in Vietnam. But we never got there on our trip
and now the three of us live in Cyprus (for more information go to
our You Tube videos here). Sure, we were disappointed at first not to
have ended up in Vietnam. We were not the only ones who had to deal
with disappointment from 2020. So…new situation, new solutions had
to be found. Now here we are in Cyprus. Arrived with 2 small
suitcases, rent a small house by the sea, many new friends and
a wonderful son.

Cyprus is a great island for us – no question about it. No stress, nice people, 350 days of sun a year. But as far as making money goes, it’s a real challenge. With a 5 Euro hourly wage and a 60 hour work week, Cyprus suddenly doesn’t sound so tingly. After I had done some jobs here (gardening, painting, installing doors, …), an idea came to me. An idea with the principle with which I had grown up: “From sh*t, make gold – we had nothing.” I started to build things out of old wood scraps and pallets that we could put to good use. One day my wife approached me and asked me if I could make a picture out of wood. That was actually just a one-time thing, which has now developed into a small family project.
Due to high demand we dont’t sell our wooden pictures anymore.

Why now exactly pictures of wood?
I have a difficult time behind me, which almost ended catastrophically for me. But with the conscious decision for life and thanks to faith, I got new courage to live again. And during that time I pursued my passion again – art. Besides working with wood, it was photos and painted pictures that gave me joy during this time. And this is my philosophy behind it. I try with certain color choice to evoke the special of a photo. In God’s eyes, we are all unique and special. Therefore, each image will also be unique, something special, which is not equal to any.
